If you have to ask it means you haven’t narrowed down you target audience.
That’s one of the main reasons to figure out your target audience!
They will have a “right” price.
You see, if you don’t target your audience, your audience will be full of people wanting cheap catering, expensive catering, or middle of the road cost catering.
You see my point?
Then what you’ll end up doing is only selling to 1/3 of your audience.
That’s 2/3 in wasted effort, time, and money!
So to summerize, the things a caterer should do to gain a competitive edge are first, figure out your target audience. Second, pick a price that target audience wants.
Then next thing a catering company needs to gain a competitive edge is to have a professionally built website.
Not just any old website.
One that shows off your bright side.
You need to have a place where your target audience can go to get all the information they need to make the decision to call.
Use your common sense.
What do you look for when you shop for a service? Price? Reviews?
Basically, get a website built by a reputable service and put those things on it.
